Minimum activation temperature | Huntsman | 70 - 75 | °C | |
Type of use | 1 or 2 component |
V1 = viscosity (Brookfield RVT) at 20°C for 15% solid in MEK.
This IROSTIC grade can be used as a 2-component system in combination with our IRODUR product range.
Clean and dry parts to be bonded.
If possible, roughen the two surfaces using abrasive material.
Apply a thin layer of adhesive solution.
Dry surfaces for approx. 30 min to allow solvent evaporation.
Activate both surfaces by warming up to 70 - 75°C.
Press surfaces together for 30 seconds.
The bonding is stable after approx. 1 minute.
Full bonding strength will be reached after 24 hours.
Please note that the procedure described here is for the adhesive solution prepared with the IROSTIC.
